This is my thirteenth symphony. I call it "Thunderstorm", cuz there's a pretty bad t-storm outside now and this piece was inspired by all the storms we've been having the past few days/weeks. Three movements: first is the rain building up to the storm. The second is the raging tempest, wind, lightning and of course, thunder. The third movement is the aftermath of the storm with the occasional gust of strong wind, but overall a calming atmosphere.

This sounds like a buildup to a great battle, then the battle takes place and finally both sides are utterly destroyed with only the sound of the storm remaining.

This definitely captures the defined themes for each movement. I can just see the rain building up, becoming increasingly more chaotic. With each lightning bolt, a clash of thunder. And finally, the storm is over and calm. A job well done! One of your best in my opinion.

Overall a good song.

However, the Second movement is not nearly loud enough to represent a full-blown thunderstorm. Otherwise an excellent work.
