Another Work in progress of my latest "series".

Good job!

I really like the simple creepiness of it, it sounds REALLY good! The only problem is the length. I really want to see this become longer, and maybe create some different parts so it sounds different. This sounds like its a part from the original song.

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

This isn't finished, so if I stop procrastinating, it will have a few more sections to it. And I'm not sure what you mean by "This sounds like its a part from the original song."... As this is an original song.

But I'm glad you like it.

I like how you used such an innocent sounding instrument (musicbox) to create a melody with such a sinister undercurrent.

Another piece of yours I'll look forward to.

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

Music boxes can be both the most innocent and the most sinister sounding instruments on the planet depending on how they're used... And I love the schizophrenic nature of them.

Glad you enjoyed it!

Dark.... but inviting

Since I am very imaginative, I am able to see a story to this.......Is it wrong to smile to a song like this?.... I hope not

Back-From-Purgatory responds:

I eat candy before bed because I like having nightmares, so if you're looking for a sane persons opinion on whether or not a normal person should be smiling while listening to this... You're looking for an answer from the wrong person.

But I'm glad you enjoy it.

Kind of has an evil touch to it as in you would hear this during a strange part of the movie where the girl discovers something dark and from that moment on horrible things begin to happen to her. Kind of makes me think of the horror movie The Skeleton Key which was completely bizarre as well.

I enjoy the flow of the this with the xylophone and the start of a violin at the end before cutting off and looping all over again which sounds great to me anyways. The tune just carries on a dark feel to it though so that is cool.

Overall, creepy and dark.
