I never did get to the final boss of that game, but there's only one thing that keeps me from wanting to touch Breath of Fire 3 again, and that's the annoying intergration of "you have to play this or you can't continue at all, and by the way, they're damn hard, too" mini-games into the storyline.
Other than that flaw, that game WOULD have a better place in my heart than it does. This theme, however, is one that I can't help but like.
