This here is a test

The lyrics I wrote back when my fiance and I broke up. I could never find a beat to put them to, then one day I heard this. I remember asking Wooormy's permission to use this for another song I wrote, but could never get the flow down. Well man, not my original idea, but finally, here it is.

This is more of a trial run than anything, as this was my first time actually trying to master something. I plan on re-recording this this summer, with a friend of mine who has much better equipment and actually knows what he is doing.

Beat is Summernight Rainstorm by Wooormy and can be found here:

Decent tune

~~REVIEW~~
Hmm this was something differant, was not expecting some vocals but it was kinda neat the music itself was abit soft and the vocals were abit dry, but i guess thats what you were going for, even with that, you should change up the vocals somehow maybe go into higher and lower tones, it does have a dark feel, maybe that was the idea you were going for though, but other then that i thought this was alright indeed, and ill look for more of your stuff soon.

~~THINGS TO IMPROVE ON~~
well some change up of the vocals here and there could give the tune something differant.

Somber

This has that really down and depressing feel to it as well. I can see how this would be fitting for a break up anyways. The lyrics are real fitting so you did a good job there. It seems like you felt down but were putting a lot of emotion into it as well. This tune sounds really sad yet basic.

The lyrics and vocals here sound great so nothing wrong there. The two pianos are very wonderfully composed so you did good there. Then there is the bass line which kind of makes it sound sadder and gives a lot more rhythm. The drums sound soft and basic enough to be catchy here as well.

Overall, break ups are almost always sad. This tune makes you feel sadder yet better too.

Thanks man. It was a rough time. And I loved the sorrow in the beat itself, so the lyrics just fit.
