Uhh...

Man, I hate it when I miss your new shit. I check ambient for new, and you go and submit under classical. So Now, just added to my favorites.
So to my review. I can't really critique, cause I don't know what is involved to make this. Im assuming you use Reason? So my reviews are based on whether or not it gives me goosebumps. heheh. I don't think I have come across a song of yours that hasn't got into my brain!! So another stellar track by you. Gets my 5 and a dl, again... and check your email.

Slayer-of-trolls responds:

Actually for the most part I just use cubase and the edirol pluggin. I have reason 3.0 but I find the piano roll in cubase easier to use. Most people seem to prefer reason but for now I use that.

I'll check it my E-mail. :)

That was sad. And I mean it in a good way.

I just came across your music today, and I decided, "Well, he's high-ranked, that's a good sign." Little did I know that this song would drive me to near-suicidal despair: which is a good thing, believe me. It really evokes a response from the listener.

Many classic songs aren't very varied, which is why I was glad that yours had such a collection of instruments in it. Very good piece, and I believe my first-ever "10s around the board" review.

Slayer-of-trolls responds:

Cool! Thanks. Although I wasn't trying to drive you to suicide, I am glad at least that it invoked an intense reaction.

I am a happy person, really. :P

Thanks for the reviews and the straight 10s

Happy hour?

*sniffle*

I'm going to have to pop some pills now... heh, but seriously ONTO THE REVIEW!!!

So here we are again Mr Killer_of_trolls... yes we are.

The flute is usually used for a happy melody, you have used it effectively for a sad piece, but like how you used the viola for your intro I think you should use strings, or the oboe like you used near your ending.

The viola in the intro could be made to play a simple melody rather then the same note again and again.

One of my favorite simple melodies I play are the following keys.

A, G, F, D(above A), F again.

Its a simple melody and when played with extended notes, it sounds rather nice.

The harp and string stabs worked extremely well, as a duo it fit quite nicely.

5/5 from me, quite exceptional. Keep them coming.

If I were you however

Slayer-of-trolls responds:

I know it's so sad. I had to fight back tears of grief making this :p

Thanks for the review.

I didn't work too hard on this piece. I just wanted to finish it quickly cuz I'm working on another piece that I can safely say is my best but I'm not sure if I wanna upload it on this account. This was just alittle fun piece to do.

If you have anymore ideas of what to do with this I'd love to hear them.
