A small boy stares off into the distance, his eyes fixed on the royal palace. His sight fades into reverie as he imagines himself entering the castles tallest tower. Climbing and climbing, each step brings him closer to the mystery at its pinnacle. With only a few more steps to go, he's fallen fast asleep...

Can you reach the top? It's quite a view.

beautiful

This is a very beautiful piece I've listened to the top 15 in classical today and this one is my favorite of the group today. The melody has such a great balance between between mystery and answers as well as high and low. I feel like there is a group of people singing a story together through the piano notes.

Thank you so much NitrogenousBeing. I'm glad there are people who appreciate the story a song can tell :)
