A small boy stares off into the distance, his eyes fixed on the royal palace. His sight fades into reverie as he imagines himself entering the castles tallest tower. Climbing and climbing, each step brings him closer to the mystery at its pinnacle. With only a few more steps to go, he's fallen fast asleep...

Can you reach the top? It's quite a view.

Breathtakingly gorgeous. The chord progression is simply perfect, and your mastery of key velocity is wonderful. Nothing is too sharp, and crescendoes just at the right time.
I hope you don't mind if I featured you and this song in my blog! Great work, 5/5 and faved!

Hey Mate,

I really appreciate your post Headphoamz. It's actually been a long time since I revisited Newgrounds and it's was nice to see someone took notice to this particular piece. I wrote and recorded this piece about 10 years ago... oh my gosh time flies. So, thanks for that. I took a gander at your work and I must say you are a very talented woman. Best of luck to you in your endeavors :)

beautiful

This is a very beautiful piece I've listened to the top 15 in classical today and this one is my favorite of the group today. The melody has such a great balance between between mystery and answers as well as high and low. I feel like there is a group of people singing a story together through the piano notes.

Thank you so much NitrogenousBeing. I'm glad there are people who appreciate the story a song can tell :)
