This song reflects the regret I have in attempting to wait until the redesign to submit something new, while at the same time wasting all this time not submitting anything.

I was originally going to add ambiance to this liek I did for symphony of darkness - but tbh I don't know if I really need it.. lemme know.

Enjoy and lemme know what you think.

I would have to agree with AddisonC. It's a very nice piece, but not something I would categorize as "ambient". Most definitely relaxing, but not slow enough to really simmer down to.

All in all, it's been a long time since I've checked out your stuff; Glad to see your still uploading music! : )

Chronamut responds:

thanks man - and I was unsure of how to categorize it so if it's relaxing I just label it under ambiant :)

thanks for the review!

Ambient? What? It just sounds simple and orchestral, it's too fast and loud, and still not simple enough, to really be truly ambient, but the mood is relaxing, so I guess that fits with ambiance. The end felt out of place, but if you want to put a twist on it that's your biz.

Chronamut responds:

yeah I like to twist things up a bit :P

and this would just get lost in orchestral genre.

thanks for the review!

sad...

I really like the ambiance and the very sad feeling it has. I would have loved to feel a little more in the interpretation and some strings or any arrangement would have increased the feelings. All in all, great composition.

Chronamut responds:

nope - wanted to make it piano only :)

thanks for the review!

Heh heh.

I feel like throwing out another review! I don't have too much to say about this song, really, but I like it. The tune sounds very good, and the piano isn't a crappy quality or anything, which helps it to wound good. The question that I have about this is if you did the 8-bit version first, or made this THEN the 8-bit version. Both of them sound great, and it's always nice to listen to your newer songs. -- Some of the older ones don't exactly have a good sound quality to them... -- The ending to this song is pretty nice, too. Not too much, and not too little.

Oh, and while I'm typing stuff up, I thought that I might mention that I'm making a ton of CDs for fun. I am currently wondering how many CDs you'll have to yourself with the songs on them. You have so many good songs I could fill up a lot. Each CD only holds 80 minutes haha.

Chronamut responds:

if I recall I used to put about 12 songs on a cd.. so maybe 30 cds?

and I did this one first, 8-bit after :)

thanks for the review!
