Once the fog lifts, the smoke clears, and the dust settles, there lies a single blade of grass discovered under the rubble. Unaware, it brings a final hope for a survivor. The person does something they thought they could never do again: smile.

<3 it

Sounds videogamy to me, reminds me of the 64 zelda games.

Very calming, relaxing, and the flute carries this very well. I think another instrument would've cluttered it too much, and the flute was a perfect choice to go with this type of flow.

Thanks for showing this great work ^.^

Calming

Kind of makes me think of the very old and retro Zelda and Final Fantasy games where they tended to play this style of music after something tragic had happened in the game.

The flute sounds very calming yet sad at the same time in this piece. Kind of makes you feel as if something sad had happened and you are trying to cope with a way to deal with it. The flute seems to play with a style that seems to calm you down.

Overall, calming and sad.

Interesting, as the emotion you described in your review was EXACTLY what I was feeling at the time I made it. That just shows how a person's art is a link to their soul.

fun fact though is that the instrument that has most of the lead parts is supposedly a Tin Whistle, lol. (Not the first part, but the later melodies.) I was being kind of random at the time XD

Reminds me of Zelda

This honestly gave me the chills. Absolutely loved it, and for some reason, it just reminded me of Zelda. Or Golden Sun. Not that it has a videogame feel over it.

It flows very well. Starts up simple, with a single flute playing a melody, until it gets backed up with more flutes. The melody keeps going through the song. I think my favorite point in the song is at 30 seconds or so, where the song takes a step up and you get a complete harmony.

I also really loved how the song reached a sort of climax a bit before 0.50, the buildup was just perfect considering how the song goes. I love the outro as well, it really dots the i for this song.

Would go really well in a concept album of sorts, it can easily tell a tale.

Your review has made me very encouraged x3

Video games in general (One of them being Zelda) are my inspiration, and some of those games have really beautiful tracks that I feel are underrated by most of the musical world. Well...aside from the niche they fall in, of course =P

Thank you very much for taking the time to hear my song and write this review, I'm glad you enjoyed it :D
