This is my first nocturne, played for piano, and might I say it was quite an undertaking.

I like this version too!

This version is the beatmapped version am I right? I need a software that can do that... Well this song's great, I almost like it as much because its faster, but then again piano songs really aren't supposed to be beatmapped. Nice work!!

yeah... well thanks

Very impressed

I was VERY taken by this song. It was so deliciously evil and plotting style. The images I formed with this piece are all intense... if only I could show you ^^.

Congrats man, you've got a ton of skill!

niftyhero responds:

Thanks. I spent a *FOREVER* writing it.

no

anyone who thinks this was played on the piano/keyboard is wrong

This person just composed, imported the midi, and assigned some sort of VST plugin/sample/soundfont

How I know this?
the tempo is precisely 120 bpm throughout the whole song
where's the talent in that?

Why don't you play your own songs?
Oh yeah, because you cant play worth shit

This also makes me question your compositional skills now
If you couldn't be honest about you playing this song, the how can we be sure if you even composed this in the first place?

Before you respond to this, think of something good, I'm sure you're really good at coming up with excuses for not having any musical talents. One thing, I'm pretty sure I know what you'll say.

"You havent made any songs"
yeah, now your out of ideas huh?

Let's see what kind of bullshit response this faggot has to offer me...

niftyhero responds:

Hmm. Not much I can do about that, sorry. But I do have the original unbeatmapped version I could submit in! Thanks for the review.

Thanks for liking the crescendos! ;) I mainly use the silencer pedal when getting soft. I couldn't really get that silent without it :/

Wow! One of the best piano songs I've heard!

Wow indeed. You did an excellent job at this! This song should be in a movie or something. Man you're a good piano player :-) !!! I definetely think this has a nice dark sound to it, and I like the parts where it gets to the light sounding theme O_O . There were some really nice chords I heard in there. Keep up the nice work.

niftyhero responds:

Hey, thanks for the review! I feel the same way you do about the song ;) It was definetly a hard piece to perform, especially the chromatics. They would tire my hands. And also the triplets in the high light melody! I'm glad you liked it! I plan to write more nocturnes in the future.
