Yesterday I just decided to sit down and see what I could come up with, and here it is. A drum n' bass similar to my last try (conquered soul) in terms of the lead synth (but they are not the same synth).

The riff is something I'd do on a piano that I turned into a full fledged piece quite a while ago. Only now did I find a decent electronic application of it.

I also used breaks for this song, something I usually don't do. Anyway, its at 170. What do you think, Newgrounds?

Fill another Glass

You said that you did this in a day, but if you worked on it it could be alot better (not that it is bad)

soulblud responds:

Too late to update it here thoough. Can't re-upload the file after 3k listens. I'll see what i can do and put it up on youtube, probably Reverbnation as well. Also, Most of my songs are made in one day/sitting. I just let it all flow out.

Thanks for being the first to not vote so high. (I think...)...

Pretty good.

The opening got annoying very fast, but overall it was okay. It just sounds repetitive most of the time.

only 3 things were used, with a few effects. A break that I sliced, claw, and I forget whatever I used for that descending bass thing. I think the orbital bass in sytrus. Simple stuff, no doubt. But personally, I think there are tons of worse pieces here.

The opening riff

Sounds like Papa Roachs Last resort. Just a bit, but then it changes and is even more awesome!

soulblud responds:

lol you're the second person to say that. At least the papa roach part. Thanks.
