Here is a piano/electronic arrangement of the stage BGM Mystic Cave Zone from the 1992 Sega Genesis video game, Sonic 2.

This is a collaboration between me and John Weeks.

MIDI Sequenced by John Weeks. Piano arrangement by Dr. Mack Foxx.

Awesome

Second I saw this, I thought the pit. Somehow on my first time I didn't go in the pit... anyway good song.

Ah, yes. That pit. I have... fond memories of it, such as falling down there several times as Super Sonic. Yaarg...

Still, good to hear that you enjoyed this track. :) Thank you very much for another review! I really appreciate it.

Personally, I would delve deeper into the Audio Portal. My tracks are only the tip of the iceberg compared to all the great tunes you can find here and there certainly and many of them that are vastly better than my songs. :)

At any rate, I'm very glad that you thoroughly enjoyed this song and thank you very much for another excellent review! 'Tis always appreciated. :)

Wow, this sounds incredible...

It's awesome how did you do to make that piano sound funny and shine upon the song! (uh... sorry for the bad writing... I'm argentinian)

I'm still trying to play this song in my electric organ, but that part (0:37 - 0:54) is awfully hard... :P

DrMackFoxx responds:

Ah, ha! Well, some varieties of piano do have a considerably different sound to them, such as the Electric Grand Piano and Honky-Tonk Piano. I'm very glad that you enjoyed this track and thank you very much for the great review! I really appreciate it. :)

Nice composition!

Nice arrangement Dr. Mack Foxx,
I've heard those Drum samples before, but I can't remember where..
I've been a big Sonic fan when I was a kid =D
Fun to hear that melody back.

Ah! I'm very glad to hear that! Good to know this rearrangement was quite successful. As for the drum samples: my primary software synthesizer of choice is currently WinGroove.

Thank you very much and I'm happy you really liked this song. :)
