Some crummy old piece I did for a contest a couple years ago..

Made it a few rounds.

a bit of experimental, breakcore, glitchy, ambient, fun..

Enjoy it. Or not. Leave some love or some hate. It's all the same.

Oh yeah, now that I relisten to it, it features a key sample (at the end) by Nubbin from some fruitless project we had started. Think I had used that damn thing in 3 projects total. Ha..

Heh, reminds me of when my Pokemon Blue used to glitch and it would sound a bit like this since it was all glitchy suddenly. This seems to be a real interesting piece though since it sounds like it is just jumping all over the place with so many different things running through your head as the song plays as well. Just real interesting. Glitchcore maybe?

The synth is very nice on the ears and gives a feeling of something calm coming even though there is a lot of chaos surrounding the peaceful time coming ahead strangely. The synth just just seems to give a feeling of it all coming to be alright in the end.

The drums are really interesting here due to the very glitchy effect they seem to have here and all. Makes you think of a boss level in a video game I think where the song starts normal and breaks out into being very glitchy sounding as they battle keeps on going forward. Really love the glitchy drums.

The piano is another thing that helps you feel calm as the song runs along later in here as well I think. It gives a feeling of even though this is a hard battle, you can still overcome it. Also I think I hear a leitmotif going on here.

The vocals were nice but what were they saying before you broke them into glitch format?

Overall, very interesting and yet amazingly glitchy sounding song.

Great review, man! Thanks a shit-ton for your excellence.

The vox are saying "Keep on", "Don't stop", and I believe "riot" or "right". Can't remember.

This is really good!

when I listened I noticed the volume order you had in here (circular patterns my favorite). Keep up the good work :3

Thanks :)

So much going on...

Its just an explosion of glitches and melodic elements, scattered wildly yet deliberately throughout the song. I love the unpredictable nature of it all.

And yet, the most inviting thing about the song was that piano sample at the end. I regularly listen to your music, so that sample was very familiar to me. I love this song, in short.

Lapse responds:

Glad you like it man. This was just something I did for fun, long ago, nothing too serious. A sort of ordered-Chaos.

I always wonder what people think when they first listen to some of my music. I suppose I'm used to it after working on a piece for a good long while. I know the flow, whats going to happen, etc, etc.

Wonder what i'd be like to have amnesia then, come back and listen to the music you made, unaware. Heh.

Real nice sound. Reviews aren't that important btw, but yeah this song is great fun.

Lapse responds:

Thank you. I know they're not. I'm just being a sarcastic ass more than anything.
