Ever heard of Aura by John Fuego and Reegz? You should have ): <
First time I heard that song was in like 2005. I woke up yesterday morning and felt like playing it for no reason whatsoever. I just played around with it and made a song, I guess it's how I want it to sound. Not really much else to put.
Software used: FL Studio 4 + Reason 2.5
Time taken: Around 5 hours

Guitar at 1:40 is DELICIOUS WHAT DOES THAT MEAN

Subtle counter-melodies placed throughout are really appropriate woo! Piano accompaniment blends well :D

The drum style sounds right up your alley -- sort of a light hip-hop/breakbeat feel to it DID I SAY BREAKBEAT HMM I WONDER WHO'S GOOD AT THAT

I haven't listened to the original song, and I don't plan to because this version will be better anyways. I am a bad person mahaha

This isn't breakbeat, this is smooth stuff sir! I wouldn't look to breakbeat it up, maybe a few IDM elements, but that would spoil the ambience of the whole tune.
