I finally got myself a copy of The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon a couple weeks ago. While exploring the Valley of Avalar, the main theme of the trilogy (at least I think it's the main theme -- it's played frequently in all 3 games) came on and I suddenly had a thought: This would make for a great dance remix!
So, after countless seconds of searching YouTube for how I could achieve the pumping-and-breathing effect in FLStudio and approximately *gasp* 4 1/2 hours of work on the track, I present... "Among the Stars". Hopefully it will be up to snuff for OCR (which, by the way, has a disturbing lack of Spyro anything -- none of the games are even in their database!!!)
When I listen to this, I can't help but think of a scenario where Spyro and Cynder are settling down for the night under a clear, starry sky, when Cynder brings up the fact that they could both die at any time... "So while we're still guaranteed a little time together... shall we dance?"

After a little feedback from members of OCR, I revised this song, adding a melody from the other song that plays in the Valley of Avalar in DotD, shortening the intro, and EQing the instruments so it wouldn't sound so muddy. I also changed the title from "Dragon Dance" to "Among the Stars".
i can haz feedbax?

Copyright info, whatever... Original songs are "Credits (With Choir)" by Rebecca Kneubuhl and Gabriel Mann, from The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning Original Soundtrack; and the Valley of Avalar theme by the same composers, from The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon. I think Activision currently owns the rights...? Anyway, this is my cover/remix/interpretatio n/WHATEVER! of those songs. So there.
