A nice slow march, a great piece

Like all his pieces, Serenity in a rose is beautiful. It is slow paced, much more so than his others, with an almost funeral march sound about it. It is peaceful, but not happy. Like a rose, it is pretty, but not pleasant to touch. The only issue. The end. It just cuts.

MaestroSorrow responds:

your right, this was supposed to be a looped piece, and Fruity Studio's is not the best program to create looping songs.

Many thanks again for your insight and words, always appreciated.

Just Splendid.

Really well done man, i dont exactly know what to say bit this was extremely well done for sure. And the title is beautiful to go along with the song itself, this is what i come to the NG audio portal for, awesome pieces like this where you can invision something happening as the music plays. The drums in this song really added a tonne to the final product. So really i have nothing else to say, but im definitely checking out a few more of your songs. So far im really impressed.

MaestroSorrow responds:

many thanks Chris, i'm glad you enjoyed it.

I always try to imagine something interesting whilst making tunes.

PS (Button Mashing was pretty damn fine as well, keep them coming ^^).

i've run out of positive words to use

This is great. The way that I critique my own works is whether or not I accomplished what I set out to do, and even though this isn't your favorite piece I'm pretty sure that you accomplished what you set out to do. And, made a beautiful piece of music in the process. (all I have to go by is the title and what I can infer by the musical choices that you made.) Unbelievably, this "tough love" reviewer has another 5 for you.

MaestroSorrow responds:

And thats the only type of love I appreciate most ^^.

Your honest words are ideally what I need most, and for that I thank you.

Brilliant...

Very good.
Seemed appropriate in a war movie, like Saving Private Ryan when there's a sad occuring.
Like a fellow soldier that gets shot.
Has a nice flow to it.
Keep them up!

MaestroSorrow responds:

I shall good sir, I have learned much, upcoming pieces shall be far grander.

meh

I must say, the beginning sounded like a Sinatra piano. Although the song didn't turn out to be anythign near Sinatra, the piano still gave me the feeling that it was a replica.

Well, good job on the mastering.. the songs has some sour notes left on, but overall, this song does deserve to be on Top 5.

MaestroSorrow responds:

Many thanks, as does yours ^^. If you should seriously leave however, I may have to harm you.

Create another account if necessary, but don't deprive NG of your work.
