After uploading my song Technological Confusion, I received some extremely helpful reviews by some truly dedicated people. This version is my attempt at fixing the problems that they came up with. I included an intro, changed some synths, and added some more sounds. I used FL Studio 9 as well as Nexus 2. I recommend Nexus 2 to everyone because it produces some amazing sounds. Leave a review to tell me what you think. And check out my first version to see the major changes that took place. Thank you for taking your time to listen to my song.

nice.

02:22 to 02:37 kinda sound like they are overlapping a bit, kinda fighting with one another, but other then that your stuff sounds very good. A good strong beat and melody is the key to a successful song and I think you did a good job of it.

I completely agree with you on the overlapping. I tried to fix it, but it just didn't sound the same so I left it the way it was. Thank you so much for the review and positive comments. Much appreciated.

What a build up!!

Well I have to say that the build up blew my mind and then the little speech made it so much better as well to me. Who is that talking anyways?

The bass and drums make this a very good song and they seem just perfect this time around actually. The voice is kind of weird as it talks a lot but makes you feel good as the voice says positive things until it says crap which is kind of funny I guess.

The synths, scratches, and upbeat sounds make this a truly subtle and amazing piece of work. I am glad to see that you really made a heavily dramatic improvment since the first version of this song.

Overall, you did a excellent job here and I truly enjoyed getting to hear it.

TylerSchrader responds:

First off, thank you for the review. I have no idea who it is exactly. I just found it in some of my voice samples. I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed it. Thank you so much for listening!

Wow..

Dude i forgot what I said to you the first time but this is sick, Only thing I can of that would make it better is mixing the vocals better so they sound clearer in the beginning which i know is really freaking hard, but besides that the song sounds really good. Composed very well and good job on mastering

Thank you. Yeah, vocals are new for me, but I'm going to start using this a lot more. It'll take a while until I actually get them to mix together well. Thank you for review, helps me a lot.

2nd time round = winner

Everything sounds so much more modern, nicer, clearer, etc! Melodies and structure are really well done too. There is a part in the middle that I would probaby have a different pattern of hihat for (faster feel to the song) but other than that, it is a nice track. Add some crashes (cymbals) here and there too for more dramatic effect.

Nice remake and well-done for taking reviews and sorting it out!

Thanks! Cymbals just don't seem to be my thing. I'm not very good with drum beats anyways, so adding crashes and hi hats is pretty difficult for me. I'll see what it sounds like when adding them, but I'm not promising anything lol. Thanks for the review man. I appreciate it a lot!
