A Metal cover of the battle theme from Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow. Also, the TV show.
... I think.
Anyway, I had been playing around with this song a while ago (Probably as far back as my Lance song) and was asked by someone to do a cover of this recently for something totally awesome. This inspired me to break out the old music making guitardevice of mine. Unfortunately I rocked far too hard for my old strings to handle, and I exploded them. It's kinda hard to get to recording until I fix this issue. Which is going to suck because I need to get someone to fix the guitar's intonation as well.
So it will be a little bit before I can get recording again. Because of this, I decided to half mix what I had currently and apply a tiny amount of mastering on to the track. So this is what I have so far, and will hopefully get solos and all kinds of shit in here soon to make this the most amazingtastic metal pokemon song on the entire planet.
Retarded made-up words aside, thanks for listening. Tell me what you think! Or not, whatever. Be that way, I'll just have to tell Dad. And last I saw he was drinking again. Just be emotionally prepared for that.
--EDIT--
I resubmitted the song to the most current version, which mainly compresses the bassline, and brings the 8-bit channel playing the main melody to the front. I also did some volume changes for the rhythm and leads, and changed the FX on my lead and 8-bit synth to have heavier verb and a small amount of delay.

Are The Drums Real?
Because I'm a drummer and if they are I ENVY the drummer.
If not then the song is still wicked awesome.
Sadly, no. The drums are not done by an actual drummer. I have a decently convincing drumkit that I use instead. I find it easier to work with than a real drummer :P
Lol I'm kidding. But it does add a new level of control to the song when you personally map out each part individually, making it entirely your own.
Glad you liked it :)

Awesome!!
It's an awesome remix!!! You really exploited the soundtrack with badass guitar and bass!!! Just an advice: You should keep the original melodie of the part after the intro (In the game: Spiral vanish), because its... Mmm... How can I explain it?? It's the "sign" of Pokemon's Soundtrack!! Someone hear it and say: "Ok It's Pokemon!!" XD I hope this help you!! Greetings!! ^^

Word!
I was thinking of subbing a star but I gave it a ten anyway because the issue is rather minor...but I believe at some points the drumming gets sloppy. Excuse my odd example, but instead of hearing DUGGA-DUGGA-DUGGA-DUGGA I feel like I hear DUGLA-DUGLA-DUGLA-DUGLA..feels weird..
Anyway...very cool adaptation!
