I was sort of bored and decided to whip up a remix of Flashman's Stage song from Megaman 2 in famitracker. What I was going for in the beginning was the effect of Flashman slowing time. Tell me how it is. For more of my 8bit stuff, go over to https://8bc.org/members/MC+Jimmy/ and check it out.

No comment... O.o
Eh, The music drains down from what it started with. I expected what is called a Lead Up, a long and unexciting chorus or intro that leads to the chorus that achieves the effects of Mystery, Surprise, Excitement and most important, CLARITY. This however, is not a Lead Up, just a big Letdown.
Before you try Whipping up Remixes, why don't you take a year of music theory to at least understand what you are trying to achieve before randomly changing the tempo over time to things suitable for a robot's ears.
The drastic pitch changes are also unnecessary for the song, have you even listened to the original? Its 2012 and your song still hasn't been really looked at, haven't you wondered why? And, before i forget, the pauses you put in are absolutely unnecessary, and again, cut that clarity that all music should have.
I listened to the whole song from start to finish, expected Mega Man, and got Junk Man instead. WTF.
Where are the drastic pitch changes other then the intro part? (Which really isn't drastic) I'm very sorry my song didn't appease to your taste for techno music which is commonly known for starting slow and getting to that exciting feeling you are talking about. Also what is this about Clarity? Should I only have one melody going on at once? No bass or accompanied melody to go with the first? For my last point I'd like to point out again that this song was made with the actual boss in mind in which he stops time. A couple pauses doesn't seem far fetched of an idea for such a song and they don't over power the song too much. Further, there are references to other Mega Man game song styles if you couldn't hear that either. Anyways, you are free to your own opinion. If you didn't like the song, you didn't like it.
PS: The original Flash Man stage theme wasn't even that good to begin with if you didn't know, very slow and neutral sounding.
