Apologies in advance for those that clicked this thinking this had to do with the NG character 'Pico', and what the hell he has to do with Sailor Moon or Sega. No, Sega released a console called the 'PICO', and this is a remix from a game on that console. The game happens to be 'Sailor Moon S'. Why the hell I did a remix of that game, I have no clue - but the fact is that I did, so you damn well better enjoy.

Here's the source...

EDIT 2: Holy crap, a BIG thanks to The Drinky Talky Thingy Pod for finding the source for me - they were absolutely right, this helped me a lot. If they read this, interesting facts: PICO was a stand-alone console that Sega created, it also hosted the Nintendo franchise Pokemon, and SEGA actually requested OverClocked Remix to do a remix for the system (actually, they TAUNTED OverClocked remix with the fact that they didn't have one), so the community made a whole bunch of PICO remixes - which is where this comes from.

Interesting stuff - anyway, go check them out; they're a fun listen with their podcast, and they use this track in there.

Animosity

Seriously, though, even though the source is a joke, the track is pretty slammin'. Check it out.

I'm suggesting this to the drinkytalkything podcast at 8bitalliance.com. I should be up in a few days.

Honestly, I'm using your track to mess with them and their newly found love of Sailor Moon. Good track! Cheers =D

Gario responds:

Haha, well keep me posted on how that goes!

On a side note, on the obscure chance that you or they actually have access to a Sega PICO and Sailor Moon S I'd love to point out the source one day, lol.

EDIT: HA, they used it, and found the source! Thanks a bunch for the spot, man!

Wow.
I know the game in question, shockingly enough. I recognize the theme (though I couldn't tell you what part of the game it is), but I certainly don't remember it being this GOOD.

The blend of old-school and orchestra is amazing, and not something I hear often. Huge props for the blend, and for the reconstruction of the melody, it's not really a simple one to piece together unless you really know it well. To make a full 4+ minute song out of it is amazing. Fantastic work!

Gario responds:

Wow, one of very few that can say they know what this is from. Awesome - glad you recognized it, and thanks for the praise. :D

I've gotta ask, though - if you have access to the source at all, is there any way at all that you could give me access to it? This is one track I've wanted to improve, but lost my access to the source :(

Nice!

This is a very catchy tune! I love the blend of 8-bit sounds and strings, not to mention a good beat. I'll say this: the source you based this song on has nothing on this composition. Awesome work! +1 to Favorites

Gario responds:

I'd hope the source had nothing on this remix, considering the source was pretty horrible, lol... not to mention hard as hell to remix, since it needed to be pieced together over the course of the video (damn sounds cut out the source from time to time).
