Here is my orchestral rendition of it, yet it does have some similarity to the original.

Pure beast, this one. One of the best Saria's songs I've heard...and I've heard a ton.

niftyhero responds:

you were pretty much on target, but there is no oboe, yet and english horn. they sound similar. you did pretty good at guessing them all.

Oh dear...

When I clicked the play button, I was expecting something that would sound completely different from Kondo's work. It seems I have been thinking wrongly. This is a pure and accurate rendition, almost exactly like the work of the original composer. It's just such a good piece, I became a little numb with shock and awe as the entire song rolled. Excellent work. Now we just need a fewer of Kondo's works here (there's waaaay too many Mario and Zelda pieces around here) and toss in a few of Yuka Tsujiyoko's works from "Fire Emblem".

Godspeed and good luck with your future endeavors.

Nice Remake!

Wow, this sounds just like the original, but actually better. It sounds very real, uhm more orchestrated I guess? I like the additions you made to it. Great job. I'm a big Zelda fan and I love this song!!! I'm gonna put it on my iPod. Can't wait for what you have next. ;)

niftyhero responds:

Thanx a bunch. I'm a big Zelda fan as well, but I wasn't trying to go all-out on this song. I just kept it simple, changed it around from the original and added some extra elements. I'm glad you liked it.
