Here is my orchestral rendition of it, yet it does have some similarity to the original.

Very good.

I liked the way the tempo was steady throughout the entire piece, but the only thing that irked me was at the ending. You could've faded out, and that would have gotten you a few more higher marks on my score sheet.

All in all, it was a good piece, and I enjoyed it.

niftyhero responds:

yeah. the ending was brief. nothing special i guess. glad you liked the rest!

"some similarity"

Saria's song is a great little tune. I think you ending the song well. However, it is waaay too much like the original.

Also, if you say it sounds like the original, it's too much like the original. Psychological talk or something. If you say you're never going to do it, you never will. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? Well, I'll be hopeful.

If it's a good song, originality is fine. That's when someone takes the song and "updates" it or "buffs" it. Or something. I'll hold you up to your word on one of your reviews. Make another one, heck, make 4. Make it shine and good luck!

niftyhero responds:

uhh thanks... even though i completely changed the song instruments, rearranged dynamics, and added in new parts. but whatever you feel

Oh dear...

When I clicked the play button, I was expecting something that would sound completely different from Kondo's work. It seems I have been thinking wrongly. This is a pure and accurate rendition, almost exactly like the work of the original composer. It's just such a good piece, I became a little numb with shock and awe as the entire song rolled. Excellent work. Now we just need a fewer of Kondo's works here (there's waaaay too many Mario and Zelda pieces around here) and toss in a few of Yuka Tsujiyoko's works from "Fire Emblem".

Godspeed and good luck with your future endeavors.

niftyhero responds:

yeah fire emblem is the shit
