Here's my remix of one of the most catchiest tunes ever!
It's a short remake in a sweet Sonic the hedgehog genesis style =D
I tried to make it sound as sonic as possible. Took alot of time ripping
sounds and extract synthesis data from the sonic games.
Made with a MadTracker because my parent's pc
can't handle heavier music programs.
I used an unregistered version of MadTracker which
didn't let me export better quality than 22050 =/

So much nostalgia

I started listening and immediately whipped out my ducktales NES cartridge. Thanks for the trip to my childhood :D.

Blown away.

Simply amazing. The song is definitely catchy, as well as a strong backup beat. In the end, it's perfectly made.

*ponders* interesting technique!

So you used programs to analyze the intruments that the sonic games used? how high-tech :O
If i were to make an 8 bit remix id recreate the instruments by getting a synth and tweeking it till it sounded the same as the original. repeat for all the instruments i need. I might even get multiple synths and overlap them just to get the right "instrument"... I must look into this MadTracker!

Sonic? That you?

I want to pull my megadrive out of the box again, just to play sonic!
Thanks! Awesome as always!

If Sonic and Scrooge McDuck had a baby...

You'd get this gem. Not much else to say, sticks to the original source material with a different twist. Awesome.
