This is an homage remix of Corridors of Time from one of the greatest games ever (imho), Chrono Trigger. Not a lot to say about this one, really...pretty self explanatory. To know the music is to love it.

a softer piece

personally i would have added a flute here and there but a wonderfully soft piece

ChronoNomad responds:

Check it out between 2:30 - 3:02. Those are flute harmonies you're hearing! :D

Love It

Great remix, probably means it was a great song to begin with. Just one thing bugs me a bit.
A few riffs from this song are almost identical to those of one song by Yanni. I'm just wondering whether the chicken came before the egg or not in this situation. Don't know the exact time each was released. Who knows, maybe it's just coincidence.

ChronoNomad responds:

Hmm, I really couldn't say one way or the other for certain, but I'm guessing it's sheer coincidence. Chrono Trigger was released in March of '95, but I have no idea how that correlates with the Yanni song in question. I do know who Yanni is, but I can't say that I'm really up on his material. You would probably know better than I.

Anyway, this is another personal favorite from the Chrono Trigger universe. It plays as the hero and his friends are traipsing through the magical floating city of Zeal, and is quite fitting. When I first played the game I would just sit there and not do anything as I simply let the somewhat Zen tune wash over me.

Fucking Stupendous!

I dig it man, and I'll tell you like I've told every artist who does a remix of anything Chrono Trigger, Please do a remix of Robo's theme that is not all 80's and shit! You don't have to (no one else paid me any mind) but it'd be dope to see what you could do! Once again, awesome track... I haven't heard a mellow version of this yet so it was a new experience!

ChronoNomad responds:

Robo's theme, eh? I do love a good challenge, and like all the music from Chrono Trigger it's positively epic. I will seriously consider picking up this gauntlet you've thrown down, and I really appreciate the great feedback. I'll have to see in what direction the music will take me...

I hope you've given my Trance version of this a listen, too! It's quite different from other remixes of Corridors of Time that I've heard before, which is probably what I love about is so much. It's fun to experiment, and I think that I could do Robo's Theme justice. Thanks again for the review and awesome idea!

Nice

I love chrono trigger. One of the best but longest games i have ever played. Good song, though! Slightly repetitive, but thats how the songs are.

ChronoNomad responds:

The repetitious nature of repetition is so...repetitive. I did try to change things up each time around with new instruments at least. Thanks for the great review! :)

Chrono Trigger FTW!
