"An amazing song indeed. :)"

This reminds me of Mozart's "Rondo Alla Turca from Sonata no. 11" slightly. Not sure entirely why, just does lol.

Either way, good song and perfect loop. It could play for eternity and you'd never know where the beginnin' or end of it was. :D

"nice nice nicec"

Sounds happy and cheerful, it's a quite busy composition here, but it sure isn't messy. The different melodies fit greatly together. The bass notes sound like they're only one note on and on. Anyways good stuff, I'm noone to review pianoes

Author's Response:

no see thats the problem - since the middle melody is rather arpish - aka it goes up and down a lot - any of the bass notes that vary from that low line seem to get ABSORBED into that arp - the bassline is actually quite diverse in its notes but all you seem to notise is the repetitive parts where the notes are the same - ah well. :P I still like it ^^

thanks for the review SBB!

this song got front page ^^

"Impressive"

A nice composition, a light and airy melody quite befitting of the title you have given it. Still, I do have a bit of a problem with the harmony. At least I think that's what they call the line played on the bass cleft, I never was a pianist. As has been said, the baseline seems a bit repetitive, as if you wrote a single section and played that section only again and again. I could just emptily suggest changing it up a bit, but I'll up the ante and suggest perhaps inverting the note patterns every two bars or so. Maybe even have the sequence play one to two notes higher sometimes. That usually varies things nicely. I hope I didn't come off as too impertinent. I really did enjoy it for the most part.

Author's Response:

the lowre 2 octaves kind of cancel each other out in palces - there is actually a bit of diversity but parts of it appear to lose their presence.. ah well.

Also this song is 4 octaves - keep in mind that more variation might mean this song owuld be impossible to PLAY hehehe :P

"its sort of like a loop isnt it?"

date: August 9, 2007

i'm pretty sure u meant it to be a loop, so you should work on the end. still, its cool u actually wrote a whole song 4 the piano. :] 4/5

August 11, 2007

Author's Response:

it is a loop - and it does indeed loop perfectly - u cant say that about many piano compositions :P

and ya everyone is telling me to give it more flexibility and to work on the end - so thank for the feedback ^^

and thanks for the review!
