Song submitted for the Orchestral Newgrounds Audio Contest. I tried to obtain a solemn sound, but not something dark and heavy, but rather a softer, uplifting composition. Hope you enjoy it.

I think you accomplished having it feel solemn without being dark. I think the only thing i didnt like was the way it ends. It has such a grand and elaborate beginning. The end seemed more like an afterthought. Even if it was supposed to die out, I kind of feel like it coulda had a bit more juice in it.

I have been meaning to extend the song somehow, but for now I can't figure out anything that works right. Thank you for reviewing.

Emotional, but peaceful

I'm not sure whther that is what you were trying to get, but I was quite relaxed by this. The trumpet at about 1:05 was magnificant, I could feel a lot of emotion in them. The use of the bells (or chimes?) abour halfway through was very well done.
The intro felt a bit unstructured however, that's my only criticism.
Overall, an exceptionally emotional piece, fantastic work!

popraz responds:

Thank you ! The relaxed feeling was indeed my goal. The intro was meant to be sort of undefined, so by the end it reaches what is supposed to be a kind of catharsis.
