6th Voice Acting Contest Final Results!

Christmas at Suezo's (Pt.1) Final Score: 88

FatKidWitAJetPak's Final Judgment:

Acting: 33/35
Fit: 25/25
Originality: 15/15
Range: 15/15
Mixing: 10/10
Final: 97/100

Your conversational acting was the best part of this skit. Your voices talked to each other very well! The range was wonderful and the characters were very well developed. They all created a giant cluster of possibilities. I would actually very much enjoy a short series created with these voices. Even if it was completely audio, I would very much enjoy it. Even though there was white noise in your microphone, your mixing allowed for easy listening. The story, combined with your acting, mixing, and well done character development, was wonderfully carried out. This is probably one of my favorite voice acting skits ever made. Certainly on my top 10.

Where did you come up with this story? Any influences? It reminds me so much of the popular sitcom comedies on TV now a days. This could easily be turned into a mini series. Your voices were excellent. The only thing that saddens me is that it was so short. Please continue this into further skits. The audio portal could use more good quality skits anyway. This can be used to really inspire other voice actors to make their own skits. If I were an animator, I would hire you on the spot. One thing that still gets me is your vocal range. It was extremely well done... I don;t even understand how your voice can do that lol. It's like you used vocal steroids.. I don't even know.

The ONLY thing I recommend you should do for improvement is to buy a new microphone to avoid little white noises here and there. I could tell you used a pop filter which really improved quality, but try and invest in the AT2020 USB Microphone to avoid all that static. It's cheap, easy to use, and affordable! *$70*. I have used it for a little under two years now and i never has ceased to amaze me. I don't even use a pop filter other than a sock. I took two points off of acting simply because the alien's voice seemed forced and the very beginning where Nelson was saying, "DO DO DO DO..." was carried out kind of strangley... but other than that DAMN this is professional quality. Use it for a demo reel. Don't worry, your recording quality does not effect your score for my judgment since it is purely because of your microphone and not related to user error.

Keep it up!

JaShinYa's Final Judgment:

Acting: 33/35
Fit: 21/25
Originality: 15/15
Range: 13/15
Mixing: 7/10
Final: 89/100

The biggest problem with this recording was the fuzziness. I don't know if it was your mic or if you messed with sound removal or what, but the audio quality was taken down. Other than that, the only other thing worth mentioning was the big alien guy's character. I like the voice in that it's deep and tough, but where did the alien pick up a jersey accent? And I feel like if he's an alien, then things like draino should be a bit forigen to him. On the brightern side of the recording, it was very entertaining and original. I'd absolutely love to hear more. The voice acting was very good in general. I just wish you will up the audio quality. Good job overall.

SimCorder's Judgment:

Acting - 29/35
Fit - 23/25
Originality- 13/15
Range - 11/15
Mixing - 02/10
Final: 78

Voices are staticy, but there still understandible so I will only deduct points from Mixing.

Good use of context.

I tell ya, the way you threw context into the story gave it so much sense, at first I didn't realize that this story was a sci-fi until you the context came into view.

Voices are a bit staticish, but since I can make out the voices wih little to no effort, your score ain't going to suffer that much.
