I finally got myself a midi keyboard, so I decided to make a short little epic orchestral theme. Who knows, maybe one day ill expand this into an entire piece.

Comments a critiques welcome, as long as you're not an ass.

If you use this for something let me know beforehand.

Decent track

Ok so this is notbad, it has a nice rythem to it and flows nicely, kinda reminds me something out of {STARWARS} any relation, but anyways it has a straight forward feel and basicly stays that way, it doesnt have much of a big cliffhangor or anything wich is something it could probably have since its like a {STORM} and could have some big bangs in there and such, maybe something at the {END} that has some loud base? just an idea there that could push it over the edge, for the most part it was just straight forward and not too blasting.

needs some cliffhangar in there maybe some drums and such. and a louder feel wouldnt hurt.

Sounds very military to me. I picture this in an epic war movie where a soldier has just returned home bruised and battered from a battle he barely escaped but won and survived.

The percussion is crisp, and the other instruments sound good. My only criticism for this is the lack of length. I think it could have been a lot more epic and really gone somewhere but it's cut short at just under a minute and a half. Would love to hear an extended version, as this is very good.

Keep up the good work.

This has a great triumphant feel to it like you are about to make the greatest achievement ever done in your life. It makes you feel like you are on top of the world. The trumpets and chorus make it subtle yet winning as well. The drums and small other sounds that appear are also nice feeling as well.

The flow seems to kind of tell a story of how someone helped overthrow a cruel king and give their kingdom a new era of hope and peace as well. Very cool.

Overall, this is a great song. Looking forward to more incredibly classical pieces like this.

i like it! nice overall sound, good themes throughout to portray action and warfare. what all are you using to make your music? i plan on creating more orchestral pieces once my other electronic projects are completed. just installed EWQLSO platinum plus :)

Thanks for the review! As for what I am using, its a pretty simple set up, for this track at least.

Garritan Personal Orchestra for the choir
Reaper for DAW
M-Audio 61es for midi input

Good luck on your classical projects, let me know how they turn out
