REVISION ON DEC 25, 2012 INCLUDES:
Removed 'pops', shortened length by removing majority of Genius, and removed sound effect at the end, also various edits to panning and instruments.

Wow, it's hard to believe that it's been over a year since my last submission. anyway, here it is, finally, the remix of the track "Snowman" from the game Earthbound, or Mother 2. Included in this remix are aspects from the track "In winters, there is a genius" and "Winters' Wake up Call", as well as a little surprise at the end for people who have played Earthbound.

In all, I am very proud of this one, and believe it is my best yet. Now that I have the producer edition of FL Studio, I hope to actually finish some of the many projects I have started in 2010 this year. This is also one of the first times I have tried dabbling with the Sytrus plugin, and I simply love it, and not only for the available presets.

An Excellent Song Made Better

The song was one of my favorites of all Video Game Songs and this recreation of SnowMan from Earthbound and it sounds great! It sounds so much lighter and cheerful! Excellent Job on Recreating such an Amazing Song and making it Sound so much Better! I liked every single part but around 2:20, the song feels kinda spaced out but it does come back together real well! I hope you keep making more Remixes and along with some of your own special pieces! You're such a great artist and I want to congradulate you on such an Amazing Remix!

Thanks for your review, I really appreciate it. The part around 2:20 was from the "In Winters, there is a Genius" track from Earthbound, but I should have shortened it or something cause it kindof breaks the song up.

A Very Accurate Recreation

I don't really know much about this game, so I went and listened to the original first; after doing so, I then listened to your remix. Here are my thoughts:
I think this is a great recreation. You took the basics of the song and laid down the melody very accurately. Changing up the instruments was also an interesting touch, and this song does have a very "Winter Wonderland" feel to it, which is--of course--the main theme of the song. So very well done.

But I still want to hear more! I'd love to hear some of your own inspiration in a piece. I would not call this a remix myself, because it still lacks a good feel for the artist-- that's you. Having said that, however, it is a very well constructed piece, and I can tell your skills as a MIDI artist are growing.

Well done ^_^

You know, after reading your review, I've been thinking about what really makes a remix, and I don't think any of my work here fits that. They're all just recreations with added twists.

I thank you for your review, always enjoy a fellow Earthbound fan. Alas, I did not grow up with earthbound, and found out about it through SSB, and played it through an emulator (actually have mother 3, I'd just like an official release) and fell in love. I wont get too in depth about it, but with the ever growing fan base of the mother series, it should really get a us release.

Thanks again for your review!
