A semi-spooky hiphop theme.

"(title in work)"

A very good track. It's got a very cool beat to it. I don't really get a spooky feeling from it, or really understand the title of this at all, but it was still fun to listen to, since it changes tune a few times throughout. Great job on this song.

I really liked it, nice little rhythm section to it, ANd has been said before it's quite haunting at the start, but then goes into a funky hip-hop ending, a really well put together song :D

"Turn the early part of this into a loop?"

by: Bezman

I felt the instruments for the main melody - everything for the first 10s - definitely gave it the spooky vibe you mention, as does the bass melody that kicks in at 21s.

If this were a loop and kept a constantish tempo, it might be cool for a sorta Ghouls'n'Ghosts-type game.

The guitar bit at the end sounds awesome, even though it's not really matching the vibe of the rest. I'd like to hear your guitar work used a bit more! Maybe have a song built on that kinda funkalicious vibe.

I felt that whilst the early part might work well as a game loop (as I mentioned), as a song it kind needs more variation - not just a pause followed by a slightly altered rhythm, but cool developments and variations flowing throughout.

It's got a pretty nice sound to it, I mean it's very clear and easy to listen to there are also no large pauses to this which is good, the constant back beat is good, though it stops at the end and not there are that start so it loops pretty well too. The overall sound is also good to, although there is a part in them middle where it just suddenly stops, might want to fix that.

Otherwise though, this has a very good sound to it, nice work on this peice, loops well and sounds pretty good most of the way through.

"Nice, spooky song"

date: February 16, 2008

As you said, this song is spooky (or semi-spooky). Well, it really is, most of the instruments used give a creepy ambient theme to the song. The beginning previews what's to come on the song. When the beat enters is very nice, it's a great beat with some smooth variations.

The song ending is also very good, with the piano and a quick usage of a guitar. Maybye you could have used them in the song progressively, one entering at a time. It would be better, in my opinion.

But I think you could use some sounds, like a blowing wind or some animal sounds, to make this even more spooky. It's a nice song that matches completely with the theme, but it can be a little better, with some more additions.
