This is my entry for Represent A Country 2010, representing Africa.
Been a tough one trying to make this one. I spent ages trying to make a native tribal drum jive, lots of inspiration found on youtube there, but couldn't get anywhere with that. So I decided to stick to the new sound that I'm working on and Merge it with a few African Music aspects, such as the Kalimba is used in this track, and a few bits and bobs of percussion.
Anyway I hope you enjoy it at the least.

That beat...
I don't know how you made the drums sound like that, but it fit so well with the atmosphere of the song. Add in how it expanded at 1:24, and you've got me hooked on this.
The way you fused the wooden percussion of your selected region with the hard sounding kicks of DnB really came showed in this song, but I feel there were areas where the bassline wasn't as good as it could've been. As was said before, a little EQ work could easily iron that out, though.

I was sold since I heard the unusual choices for the beat. That kick is sweet. :3
This only needs a tighter mix and master really, and its perfect.
Awesome!! I wanted to do a bit more with the mastering side, but ran out of time for deadline with the RAC contest.
