My first try at a Baroque style song!
From now on, Everytime I post a song, I will list what I have learned and how I've implemented it into the song.
Features:
-Dialogue between Woodwinds + Brass and Strings
-I actually used different dynamics this time :)
-humanization of... everything.
Newgrounders, I'd love to improve my ability; please review :)

well at least its polyphonic. it sounds nice it flow really well but as for the orchestration, timpani feels out of place and unnecessary

It is a beautiful world...
My suggestions would be to continue using a string quartet together with the harpsi. and turn down the drums/keep the drums subtle. I don't know of any Baroque pieces with a rock n' roll drum entrance. Other than that, it's one of the best classical pieces I've heard on here.

Cheers!
Thanks for the review. I'll definitely keep the drums low in the future. My computer crashed and all the music data is gone. I'm getting back on track, though. I'm also glad you liked it.

Interesting...
Sounds like one of those classical castle themes but mixed with one of those forest themes at once. Yeah I'm in teh video game mindset here, but thats the best way I can look at it. I'm sure if you take one of the castle themes from Tales of Phantasia, and mix it with one of its forest songs, it would sound similar to this.
I'm sure you know what I mean by "castle theme" and I was wondering if you could tell me what that.... This will sound dorky, but that twangy piano like sound is? Not like what its called in the program, but like what the instrument itself used to make that is? I actually want to learn it, just hide in a room somewhere and play it like one of those classy villains playing the organs, and when someone enters the room, just turn and be like "I was expecting you...." ^_^ that would be so fun.
That would be the Harpsichord, my friend. Not as popular today as it once was. In fact, they can be really expensive since the supply is low. If you really want to buy one, I'd recommend Harpsichord Clearing House (www.harpsichord.com). I personally don't have the kind of money for that though lol.
Thanks so much for the review. I'm glad you liked it and I'll be making more. This review motivated me :)

Not One For This,,, but
Im not as technicall as the previous reviewers, but I do judge by what I feel, for anything you experience is a gut feeling, and not with a calculated knowledge. This game me a sense of whimsy at some points and a feeling of responsibilty to duty in others (I had my eyes closed while listening, and at some points imagined being a Knight. Lol).
Overall good experience, I look forward to listening to more you create and seeing about it on the Humanism board. Post more links to your future creations there if you would please =)

Hi Mortician97,
Thank you for the review, I'll be sure to post on the board. This music style is supposed to be from that time period so your intuition is correct :)
