My newest song, actually done for one of my classes (Our video game project). I used Sibelius to make it. Now with updated quality :).

The song can be split into 4 parts:

I. Main Character Death
Descr. - Played if one of the main characters dies.
II. Boss Form I
III. Boss Final Form
IV. End of Game

So, the story would go a little like this outline:

One of the main characters dies because of something the final boss would have done. Immediately following his/her death, the boss shows up and you have to fight him. You win, and you think "Hey, game over. That wasn't that hard."

Then the boss comes back to life, and has a second form. Then, after you beat him, the game is finally over.

So, in other words, your generic RPG ending.

Edit: Quality update.

Great work.

This is a pretty epic piece, I must say. You have some good ideas and your musical pallet is fairly developed. One suggestion I may give when writing orchestral music is try using some tempo changes and dynamics. The piece is great as it is but adding some more powerful dynamics (You may have written some dynamic changes but it's difficult to tell over Sibelius Midi) and tempo changes can bring life to a piece. Over all a great work and keep them coming!

HotSax responds:

Thanks :). Yeah, there are a few dynamic changes in there, but, as you said, Sibelius made it hard to hear them. I'll keep it in mind.
