First of all, the full title of this piece is "Variations on a Christmas Carol" which is a bit too long to add as a title here on NG.
Okay, so this piece consists of variations on the Christmas Carol "Carol of the Bells" by Leontovych for a large brass choir. There are several ideas presented through the piece about Church Bells. They are:
-The power and grandness of the bells
-The echoes of the bells in a town
-The distant presence of the bells from afar
-The off-synchronization of the bells
-The mechanics of a bell tower
The main idea, though, is the power of Church Bells. Even though I may be Jewish, I find the presence of giant golden bells to be awe inspiring.
Please enjoy the music and remember to vote and review!

Having been acquainted with this carol...
...and with church bells - I find this a rather grandiose interpretation of the original. Comes second to plainchant and some orchestral Christmas music, but I love this. Kudos!
I'm glad you enjoyed it, thank you! I always thought of church bells as very grandiose, and this carol reminded me of them. So naturally, a grandiose composition came about using it. I'm glad you love it, thank you for the listen!
