First and foremost, I'd like to apologize about the moving piano line. I filtered out so much that you get nothing but the 1363 Hz range. However, You REALLY don't want to hear what the piano sounded like before I tweaked the crap out of it.

Anyway, this is an abandoned fanfare that I started out in the beginning of the school year, when I began feeling the urge for a style that was on the "music major" side of things. That, and during this particular period, I would occasionally fool around on the piano in my dorm lobby, often to the mood of whatever was going on at the time (usually a game of pool).

I began putting a few piano concepts together...and this one was the only one that didn't sound like pure garbage. The Celtic drums and rock motif came after a few days of derping around with the concept. I have, however, lost interest with it, and decided to upload it as is.

Some good news: I will upload the symphony (my school project) soon, as opposed to the Summer, which usually plays hold to wide releases. The bad side to this is the fact that I've decided not to create a hardstyle mix for my finale. I'm sorry, but I had a change of heart between the beginning of my project and post-submission, and I just can't make a hardstyle piece for the finale.

Anyway, please do rate and comment. If you want to, also feel free to remix this*; I didn't do the best job of sound quality or composition with this piece. Just give me a heads up before you do decide to derive from this song.

Don't hate, keep the faith, keep listening to good music.

*(By "remix," I mean "remix in good taste." Don't make some crappy version with 909 drums and cliche synths at 170 BPM after one Smirnoff too many. Nobody likes that. At least I hope not....)

Victory!

Nice one! As a huge pianofan I really enjoyed this.
You made it float in really nice with the other instruments.

I think that it should have been a better pianosound, instead of the electric "lp" sound that you use now

Thanks! Sorry that I couldn't get to the review until the end of May, but I haven't been here in a while.

You're right about the piano sound. I'm getting sick of a lot of orchestral sounds in general. I'm keeping my ears open for more realistic synths, though, and I hope to get some more refined sounds in the coming months.

Thanks again for the review.
