Just a little something that some friends and I wanted for a Pokemon abridged series we're working on. I couldn't find anything creepy enough, so here we go.

Nicely done.

At first I thought that you have missed few notes, as this version wasn't complex enough (just as the original is).. also making these few remeaning notes high pitched ripped away almost all of the mystery and dark from it. Then, my eyes went up to the title and I have finaly realized - a "Music Box".. rrriight. Now it makes sense.. and when I just imagined a dark room with music box in the middle playing this melody.. God ! Now that's spooky ! Well done !

THANK YOU for realizing what it was meant to be!

Yeah, like I told a few others, it's not meant to be a full piece with several instruments, but something faint and empty in essence. It's more for a certain type of atmosphere compliment, if that makes any sense.

It lacks...

It sounds creepy..but its needs some more added to it to make it "POP"out at u...right now it makes me want to just pause and go find something else to listen to..nothing just lacks the excitement!!

CelestOrion responds:

It's not meant to be a full piece. Whenever the time comes when I'll use it for the abridged series I mentioned, it'd only be quiet background music for a couple of parts. I only put it on NG for shits and giggles.

The first time I ever went there I felt slightly sad for the Pokemon that Team Rocket had slayed to get what they want. The vengeful Marowak as well was a slight pain since I had to go on a task to defeat her and let her rest. The song is a great and a good tribute to one of the saddest towns in the whole Pokemon series.

The keyboard and very lightly heard bass in the background give it a subtly creepy feel as well. Overall though I really have enjoyed this. Sad memories but sometimes you just have to get over that lump in life and conquer your own problems to move on.

Thanks for bringing back some subtle yet sad memories. Hope you have fun continuing to make songs.

I do a full song on this (VST instruments and all.) and a tech remix, and this makes it this far? Allow me to go download a midi and put them all on a music box VST. Honestly, I enjoy this, but it's too simplistic to deserve the top week.

CelestOrion responds:

You think I'm amused with it being up there? =/
