Violently sneak-attacked. Your pack sacrificed in order to not be eaten. Now, out of Anti-Venom; out of Antidote. Your heart is beating out of its cavity and your legs ache for security as you race back towards town, through the thick mushroom forest.

Epic! I played this for a whole hour straight :P

Hey, dude I just bought your album yesterday, and I want to say its great. My favorite song is "We've been rowing for so long" especially the part at the end that plays by alone during the last few seconds of the song. You should do more glitch songs like that with vocals. They're really good :D

Man, that's so great to hear. I'm glad you checked it out. Got the quality version by downloading it :)

I actually have a handful of pieces that feature vocals, some with much more than just a repeated line. I have an unreleased piece called "Gravity" that features some of the most vocal work I've done - actually one of the first big vocal pieces I've done (all with the glitches and ambiance of course).

If you listened to this loop for an hour - thats like 1,500 loop cycles, haha.

If you check out my soundcloud there's a song called "Can't Remember Where I Am" that features some recent vocal work (the last half of the song).

There's also two more loops that accompany this piece in my audio listing here. They're all grouped up.

anyhow, I'm rambling. Really awesome that you checked out the album. I poured loads of time into it. :)

Continue?

this song really doesnt speak to me as low hp rather a very enticing continue song for when you die or something but thats just me the song is so catchy!

Lapse responds:

Heh heh, I can see it working for that as well. I'd say multi-use.

Those were just my thoughts at the time. Gives you that urgent vibe - which can be associated with a continue screen :)

Whoa-ho!

I really like the percussion glitchery, it does a great job at creating a desperate mood. However, the main melody is forgettable in my opinion, and it's the focus of the song.

Lapse responds:

What makes it forgettable for you? It's fairly simple. A declining melody, with slight variation. I quite generally never want anything to stand out too much on it's own. it's all supposed to be proportioned to be a cohesive solid.

Very cool!

i will definately use this in a game if i ever made one :P

how long did it take to song to be approved??

Lapse responds:

Feel free, hah.

Uhm, I don't really remember how long that took. Maybe a day? My first song I submitted was a real long time ago. Be patient new one. :P
