tomarrow i will my own promise i think you have bad guitar and you just got your pedal right and the dick dale thing you were trying was scratched up by the fact your useing a low gage string and light pick bad and tapping needs to be alt between middle right ring left try this

index left on the e string 5th fret ring left on the 8th fret mid finger right hand tap on the 12th fret keep doing this till you get good but once you do omg its so freaking awsome thats my constuctive crit try it out and pm me with any tips you got for me thanks peace out

Sorry man but that wasn't very good.It sounded like a lot of notes wouldn't sound and you weren't picking all that fast or moving smoothly between strings.Keep practicing though.

Oh and how long have you been playing?

In this particular recording I was really goofing off more than anything. I've been playing for around 12 years. You play? Anyways, Thanks for the constructive criticism. I don't pretend to be a great player, this was just one of those "I wanna see what type of rating I can get with this recording" type of things. My next speed picking will be better. The Speed picking 1 sucks compared to this one, though, so I guess you could say that my abilities have increased somewhat since I recorded the first.
