Awesome! Just freakin' Awesome!

That would make an excellent theme song for an anime or videogame character.

"Oh shet! It's 'insert name's theme song, we're screwed, seriously we're al gonna die!!"

It's that cool..

TritoneAngel responds:

Thanks a lot dude! Not a bad idea -- I hope someone uses it, 'cause I really liked this clip.

My brother suggested it should be like a wrestler or a boxer's intro music as they walk to the ring, you know, with pyrotechnics going off in the background and them doing some pimp/gangsta walk and pumping their fists and all. That, or a baseball player's coming-to-the-plate music. (Can't you picture like Albert Pujols or David Ortiz or Jason Giambi sauntering up to the plate with this blaring over the stadium PA? Come on man, that would be cool.)

Thanks again for the review.

This is the good stuff!

Hey that was an awesome loop, a bit short but coolness makes up for it. Nice guitar sound and the riff is \m/. I'm a guitarist too, you should check out my song Desert Rose. Maybe we could do a collab one day. 5/5 Good job.

TritoneAngel responds:

Thanks for the review!

I checked out your stuff -- it's exactly the kind of stuff I like. Symphony X-ish = cool. Let's keep in touch. I'll add you to my "portal buddies."

Not too shabbeh

It was pretty good dude, I did have a few gripes though.

The rhythym guitars sound like they have too much treble. Kind of cuts into the ears abit. Sounds like it would be much more suited to a solo kind of tone.

Drums could do with a bit of work too (but this is coming from the perspective of a drummer...i know what one can, and can't do, when behind a kit ;D).

But besides that, it was a kick ass riff, and the ambience was nice too.

Make a longer version ;D

TritoneAngel responds:

Thanks for the review. I've never played drums, so my drum parts tend to be more what I think of that sounds good, rather than what can realistically be played. I've made many a drummer angry with that. :)

Good note on the rhythm guitar tone. I'll experiment with different eq-ings of the rhythm guitar parts in future submissions. (Funny part is that that part had a crapload of bass on the live end, maybe the eq/mix took it out. In particular, on my amp's Mesa-emulator setting, there's usually an overload of bass. It's always a delicate process knowing how much to regulate it.)

Good to hear from you dude -- you're a popular guy 'round these parts.

Wow

This is awesome I can tell why it took a while. What gear were you using because this is HEAVY?It would be awesome if you could make this into a full tune but either way awesome job my friend.

TritoneAngel responds:

Thanks speedmetal! Yeah, this one definitely was from my Schecter -- adapts really well to the Mesa settings on my amp, with its mahogany body and set-neck.

Guitar: Schecter C-1
Amp: Line 6 Spider (I)
Mic: Shure SM-57
Audio Interface: Tascam US122
Recording Programs: Total Recorder, Cubasis

I actually have parts of this song extended into a full thing, but I wanted to crop it for the loop. I'll see if I can get a full song version together.

Always good to hear from you.
