I'm back (for now). More instruments, more sounds, and best of all new drums!

So this is a remix of the castle song from Nintendo's Yoshi's Island. I normally don't remix Mario Bros. music, but this has to be the sickest song from the game. I added the orchestral sound to it so it should sound a little better than the SNES version. I'm sure most people will recognize this song. It's a classic.

In case you don't know, Koopa has kidnapped the princess (again) and locked her away in his fortress (interestingly enough you find her in his flying machine...was he sitting on her the whole time....what was she doing in there?) But before you can get to him you have to get pass every one of his offsprings, the koopalings. The little pranksters trapped the baby dinasaur yoshis in eggs and taken over several regions of Yoshi's Island. As you enter the castle you'll find that they inherited their father's scheming ways -- the castle is full of traps and lava pits.

At 3:00 you will start to hear the twist. If you keep up with the "new" stuff, then you'll recognize that this is also Koopa's fortress song, but from the "New Super Mario Bros. Wii". Not near as good as the original, but I put it i there to add some originality to my arrangement.

My favorite koopaling is Ludwig Von Koopa (the one on the CD cover) ofcourse! I'm sure you can guess why.

Machine generated goodness

A few things would make this track so much better:
1). Chop that intro off
2). increase the levels on your drum kits, You can't hear them at all.
3). Get a drummer who actually can play to a beat
4). Speed up the track!

Very Dramatic...

I like it. It seemed to drag out in the beginning but when it got 'into it' I was hooked. Good stuff.
