This is a piano arrangement of the BGM from the stage "Emerald Hill Zone" from the video game Sonic 2. This is a collaboration between me and John Weeks.

MIDI Sequenced by John Weeks. Piano arrangement by Dr. Mack Foxx.

MIDI modified and used with permission. Please note: I do have written permission to post this from John Weeks.

Have you ever thought of trying Vectorman music?

Ah! Thank you very much for yet another excellent review and I'm glad you really enjoyed this song! :)

Vectorman? Sadly, I am not familiar with that game, let alone its accompanying soundtrack. I'll look into it, though.

DrMackFoxx responds:

I have noticed that this song has a lot of remixes, indeed. Certainly not easy to stand out among many other versions of this track, let alone live up to the original.

Glad to hear you still liked this song, though, and thank you very much for the review. :)

Epicness to the max

I'm a big sonic fan (not so much nowadays, because he's just arrogant now >:|) But I played this game nearly everyday, I lived and breathed Sonic The Hedgehog. Some one should remake sonic with this music

DrMackFoxx responds:

I'm still a big Sonic fan, although I think the series "Jumped the shark" with the ending scene from Sonic Heroes ("I don't understand... why can't I defeat you?" "Because WE'RE Sonic Heroes!") Yaarg!! Seems like Sonic, for the most part, has been going downhill ever since.

At any rate, it certainly gives me more confidence, saying this track should be in an official Sonic game. To be honest, if I was a lot more experienced with Flash and knew how to do programming, I would have made a Sonic game for Newgrounds years ago. Oh, well.

Thank you very much for another excellent review and I'm very glad that you enjoyed this tune! :)

I have several more tracks where this came from. I recommend "Sonic- Green Hill Zone Piano" and "Sonic- Casino Night Zone Piano". They are my best-received Sonic tracks this far. :)
