Thanks for your review. :D

Seriously, though, it's not a good idea using your review space to trash other reviewers. I mean, the trolls who come in here and snob the place up are bad enough.

"i don't see why people dislike this..."

date: October 24, 2009

i personally like this, "those who fight further", and any other rock/metal/punk/or techno remixes. so nice job! 5/5

Author's Response:

I don't mind that people like/dislike this. I mind when they start spewing shit out their fingertips that isn't constructive criticism. It's not like it's the Song That Never Ends or anything like that, so it doesn't deserve the shitstorm that cocksuckers like Zero070810 (who really don't know anything about music to begin with) spew on it.

Of course, that's not stopping me from working on it. :3

"WTFH is dis?"

date: July 9, 2009

Just wrong, taking a near omnipotent villain and giving him THIS as a theme. This type of song has 2 best styles in my opinion: 1) Rock/ Metal or 2) Classical/ Orchestra (cus it can scare yo crap out). Any others jus sound goofy or sickening. At least you had the right tempo and notes, the instruments were off here.

"WTFH is this review talking about?"

If you're going to take the time to knock anything on a five-year-old track, at least take the time to proofread your "review". "Dis" is not a word, nor are "jus", "yo", or "cus". Also, Orchestra is not a "style" (by the way, the word you're looking for is "genre"), and juxtaposing words with slashes requires that the words TOUCH the slash (no space).

Now that I'm done knocking YOU for your grammar, I will now knock you for your "review's" content. First, Sephiroth wasn't anywhere near omnipotent -- the ability to destroy the world with one magical spell notwithstanding -- and THIS song is considered by many of the other reviewers to be fairly decent. If you think those are the only two genres that "One-Winged Angel" can be arranged in, I will do an arrangement of it with acoustic guitars and a hand drum just to show you just how wrong you are. Quite frankly, I don't think you've heard "goofy" or "frightening" yet. Finally, I didn't have to have the right tempo and notes -- the fact that I did shows that I really didn't want to do much to the piece -- and the instruments were the best I had at the time. Listen to anything from the last year or so and you can hear how much better the sounds have come.

I close this response with a challenge: Why don't you make something better, then, you know-nothing cocksucker?

ADDENDUM: Seeing as you won't take me up on the challenge, I hereby declare you to be not just *a* know-nothing cocksucker, but you are THE know-nothing cocksucker.

"Good for a GBA FF VII Related Title But That's It."

date: June 9, 2009

The beginning was a bit harmless if you get my drift. The rest of the song is fairly accurate, but compared to the Advent Children version which I'm guessing was your style for the song, it just doesn't sound that hardcore (Which is really obvious but I really mean that even with music tech. available to you).

P.S. to the reviewer below me, Neo-Fusion: Whne you write a review, your always supposed to be honest whether it's encouraging enough to lift someone up from their slump or it's brutal enough for the subject to commit suicide. So don't make an obvious statement seem so special next time ;)

Author's Response:

First, thanks for the review, but... hardcore wasn't the aim here. Metal was the aim. And although the AC version was out, we weren't trying to mimic or imitate it--if anything, we were trying to do it closer to the original. xD

I'm working on improving it. I just need to pick the pieces up from my LAST hard drive failure. :P

Do note that when my brother and I put this together, we had ABSOLUTELY no recording equipment. This was all .midi controlled and soundfonted, which is why it is very lacking (my brother in particular, in the end, settled for the guitar sounds even though they're terrible).

Believe me, Beyond Perfection (which we've dubbed "The Scrumtrulecent Edition") will be 100x better than this take ever was.

Again, thanks for the review. xD

"I am going to be honest"

date: June 5, 2009

It is a good track, but there is two sides here.

I personally do not like the track, that doesn't mean it's not good I just don't prefer it over other versions, but this is good so don't take this the wrong way.

Author's Response:

I think I know what you're saying. A friend of mine (SSJ3-Goku4567) made a remix attempt at it, and I'm listening to it now. I might re-remix it just for giggles, but I'm still intent on making this mix, well, "perfect".

Thanks for your review. :D
