I must say, your counter for the rant...

Was quite entertaining.

That note aside, I must say, very nice job on this. At first, I'll admit, I was quite iffy on this, but after listening to it some more, it's grown on my.

Joshy676 responds:

I think, at five years old, one is allowed to be iffy on this track. I just don't approve of it getting undeservedly negative feedback. I mean, sure, it's not "Perfect," as the title would sell it (and I can't change it for two reasons -- 1, over 3000 listens, and 2, it's featured in a Flash), but it's not exactly terrible, either. I think its biggest shortcoming, one that I've always had, is the piece's execution. The writing could be better, too, but I've improved in that department (or at least I think that I have).

Fortunately, getting a job has allowed me to afford to get new stuff to work with musically. Unfortunately, I don't have a lot of time for music production, and I just spent most of my free time for the last three months working on the music for my new Metal Gear Medley. I still have to transcribe all the parts (excluding guitars, basses and drums) for the players, and I hate using Finale. It's not exactly user-friendly, not to mention I have 10 parts to write.

Anyway, enough of my ranting. Thanks for your review. I'm glad you like it. :)

nicely done

while this may not be the best remix of this track that i've heard it is by far one of the most creative and origanl.
it suck that people can't respect the fact that you wanted to do something creative and differet with a remix.
you have alot of talent and i will be keepig an eye on you because, as i stated, you are talented and origanl.

Joshy676 responds:

Thanks for your review. I'm still working on another rendition. Because we're writing it from scratch (natch, given that all my backups were lost in my various hard drive crashes), it's taking a while. Once the writing's acceptable, though, we're going to start recording the parts.

Nice rant down there,

and I LOVE THE ADDENDUM! XD

Joshy676 responds:

As much as I was absolutely disgusted by that review, I would greatly appreciate it if the other reviews I received weren't just comments about other reviews. I mean, I know how I feel about every comment made, but what I really would like to know is how each person feels about my music and if/how it can be improved.

Of course, this isn't to say that I need to read what the likes of Zero070810 wrote down there (and the funny thing is, I think I got through to the guy -- he reviewed two more of my works and actually gave better reviews.). I would just prefer to see the overall quality of reviews on NG improve, and improve drastically if possible.
