Tenth track for the album.

This one is a remake of Radiance, one of the first tracks I uploaded on NG. Now beefed up quite severely for Legion (the album), it features some structural changes, it's been shortened down quite alot since the original was well over 6 minutes. Threw in a little bit of Testament thrash metal in the mix just for good measure.

Enjoy.

Also, Einstein is metal now. This is not open for debate.

EDIT: Minor fix, the envelopes for the guitars were not loaded for the render, so its fixed now. Should be a much tighter and more defined sound from the guitars now. Delete your browsercache and refresh the page if you've listened to the track recently here on NG. Or download it to get the new version.

Lashmush responds:

its all digital, simply put, midi sequencing. alot more detail to make this level of realism is required, among the many things, humanization (variation in rythmic accuracy aswell as velocities of each guitarstrum, drum hit, etc), which can be hard work at times.

thanks for the review, sir.

Great closing song

First of all, I must say that you have really inspired me to get my ass moving and get some of the songs that I've been working on for a few months done. Which brings up the question: What programs do you use to make your songs so I can try it out? Now for the review itself.

This is a absolutely fantastic remake of Radiance. Everything in the song pushes it along, the bass and guitar mesh fantastically and drive the song while the drums provide a great beat for the song. The keyboard sounds really shine in this song, providing a great ambiance that, in my opinion, make the song. Fantastic work Lashmush, you have a fan for life in me!

I use Renoise for composition (tons of VSTi plugins) and mixing, Audition 3 for mastering and fusing track segments together.

Thanks alot for the feedback sir. Worked quite hard on it so it's nice to see it appreciated.
