Easy Listening - Classical

This is a little recording I created last year when I heard that 3D Realms was gone. While (rather ironically) mourning Duke Nukem's death I sat at the piano and played "Grabbag" (mostly known as the Duke Nukem Theme). Enjoy. :)

PS: And yes, I'm aware that Gearbox resurrected the franchise and will release Duke Nukem Forever soon, no need to tell me that. ;)

Pure Beauty.

Duke listens to this while he reads.

That came out a hell of a lot better than I thought it would, you took a more rock oriented song and completely changed it while still making it sound like the original. good job I hope to hear more from you in the future.

Thank you very much. And yes, I'm seriously considering to create more such stuff in the future but it'll have to wait as I currently don't have access to my piano. :/

Nothing unoriginal.

I really enjoyed it. It gave Duke Nukem a second look into his life. What he must do for social means. After that, I wondered what Doom's E1M1 would be.

I guess E1M1 will always just remain a MIDI cover of some metal song. ;)
Great thanks for the review.

I have a hard time playing this on guitar but you make it seem so easy on a piano ;~;

Keep up this type of work!

F4LL0UT responds:

Thanks, mate. I have to admit though that it's not as easy for me as it may seem. I'm not that good at playing the piano (unfortunately I don't practice much) and I needed many attempts to get a decent recording. Playing like this (especially while recording) totally stresses me out. And the worst part is that this is actually two recordings mixed together because I just didn't manage to create a whole run that I was satisfied with. I don't make it seem so easy after all, hm? ;D

Anyhow: Thank you very much for the review and who knows, maybe I'll continue making piano versions of game themes - I've already played some songs from Turrican 2 that I actually might record soon. :)
