Long time no see, NG! :)
Needless to say, the past two months or so have been incredibly busy. I haven't had a chance to work on music for myself until just last week. I finally breathed a sigh of relief the friday before Halloween and started this piece.
It's a melodic, uplifting & progressive Trance tune. A definite foray from my usual sound, I had a lot of fun making this tune. Finished it pretty quickly too, a bit over a week all told. Unfortunately as I'm doing the final listen on my laptop speakers I realize it doesn't sound top-notch during the build on crap speakers so I apologize for that. It's the darn kick, it's really bass-y - definitely meant to be heard on a big, loud system. :d
Like always, I used Propellerhead Record+Reason to make the song. I incorporated a few presets (bass, the left and right stereo pads and the stereo fx) and made a few from scratch (the chords, the arp). I've spent the last two days trying to balance it all but my ears have grown tired of the tune so I'm sure there's still some muddy parts to the track.
Feeling-wise, I'd say it best describes my longing to go to space. Seriously, though in a backwards kinda way. I love sci-fi and fantasy and all sorts of fiction and I'd really just love to go on a space voyage. While working on the song I imagined a woman crying about her husband leaving on a space trip and his intense adventures while she waited. The answer to that is his return and their joyous union, however it is not forever and soon his journey starts again. And again... And again... :d What's your take? :)
As usual, please rate / review / enjoy! :D

Excellent.
This piece is so dreamy. I love the intro and how it builds slowly but surely into a energetic piece. One of the best bits of Audio on NG, great work.
It's not too fast, not too slow, it's just right. Great tempo with solid beats, brilliant.
Hey GVG, thanks for the comments. :) I definitely poured my heart & soul into this piece, still makes me feel the tingly waves when I listen to the intro. It's all thanks to that Theremin synth I used, it really added such a wailing, mournful quality to the song.

Just love it
4 me this is the best music for a trip on the freeway, at night :3
:D Damn straight, now if only we could zoom around space in rocket cars it'd be even more suited. :)

I write classical music, and this influenced me.
This influenced me, and I write classical music, let's just say, that's no easy achievement. It really shows the power behind this song
all of the stars in the fucking universe for you ^.^
Yay, more stars for me! :D Thank you for the kind regards, Staytesics. Your melodies are quite beautiful as well. :)

Amazing
Out of listening to much of your music, I would have to say this is my favorite song of all of them. The melody is simply amazing. Really makes you think of greater things than yourself.
Thanks for this wonderful tune.
:) It makes me smile to know that the song moves others the way it moved me. Each of us is a part of the all and the small! Thank you for leaving your thoughts. :)
