good melodie, but there were no (or not many)drums or bass, it would be better if it had some good "kick" to it (pun intended)

"Tough one"

I usually need to open with the disclaimer - I'm not a straight techno guy so take it all with a grain of salt...

This wasn't bad but it felt a little light - by that I mean that it didn't sound very big - maybe a few pads or even a bit more reverb would help fill it out a bit.

Maybe a little heavy on the arps but then I really can't judge techno very well...

I'm voting 5 on this because it sounds like you're really trying and I'm generally a pretty nice guy like that... Besides - it's only a matter of time until some jackhole votes zero and that sucks hard so maybe I can help keep the score up a little.

"Techno?"

I would say this is more trance than techno, but I have trouble deciding what genre my songs are too. It seemed like a pretty solid effort but I felt like I was always listening to the same thing over and over as there weren't many variations. Some of the sounds were a little cheesy. It was not bad though. Not (always) my type of music.
