The original song has been one of my favourites since forever. Thought I'd give it a try remixing it.
The track is not fully mastered, just slightly, and because I suck at mastering I got some help semimastering it By Ian "DJ PHX" BIG THANKS to him :)
Check out his music, he does great stuff: "http://unrealdark.newgro unds.com/"

Plz don't zero bomb, and constructive critisism would be awesome :D

Sounding good.

Very light, and not much bass in here, but otherwise, it sounds great!
Synths were perfectly mixed,
Snare rolls fitted nicely,
Leads placed perfectly,
Structure was great.

Great job my friend, although i crave a heavy bassline in your tracks.

Inbox me and we'll talk.

Peace and Bass,
Dan Roth

Shoephly responds:

I've always had trubble with basses dunno why :/

thanks a lot for reviewing and giving me some feedback always nice to hear what people like/dislike about ones tracks :)

Nice work

I don't really care about the mixing issues, and the composition you did here is fine. It depends on the producer's approach/desire as to how much suspense should be added to a build-up. Not every dance track has to be "explosive". Sometimes a tune/song in itself is energetic enough as is. Therefore, in my opinion, this remix is pretty great. Keep up the good work, and practice practice :)

Shoephly responds:

Haha, finally someone who gets what i was aiming for with this piece, just wanted a nice remix with handsup:y ish feel in the end. And ofc man, one can never practice too much-

Thanks for taking the time to review, much appreciated! ^^

Good job!

I really like this mix, such a great song to begin with. I don't have much to say that hasn't been said already... as Gravjar said add elements to contribute to suspense, you want music to build, build, build, stop, and explode.

A job well done, keep making music!

Shoephly responds:

thanks a lot for the feedback mate, means a lot to hear that you enjoyed it.
and i am taking these suggestions under consideration. :p

thanks a tonne

Cool stuff :)

Hey dude! Oh man everyone knows this tune. :) Perhaps try to create even more awesome fills, and snare rhythms. I really liked the synth part that comes in at 2:06. Don't be afraid to play with the kicks a bit. I really liked them at 2:41. Overall, a decent mix! Keep making the tunes alright? You have the potential! :D

Hah, yea. It's an awesome song (the original), and has been one of my favourites since like forever, having that said I tried to come up with an original tune which is pretty hard keeping in mind that there's been like 100 remixes of it xD.

I definetly agree with the Kick/snare fill part which is something i personally thought i need to work on as well, but having trouble finding the right sounds whenever it comes to more complex fills (if you know what i mean)

So: most importanly thanks a tonne for the review, means a lot to get some feedback from someone on the more proffessional side of music making :p
