Here's my first attempt at the dubstep genre. Mixed some dnb and other stuff into it as well for variation.
Hope you dig!

Not too bad

I'm actually kinda new to Dubstep.
In fact, I hated it up until I actually gave it a chance and went looking for it. (All the Dubstep I had ever heard early on was crap, I've recently found out.)
From 3:12 to 4:15 it sounds like you got bored and threw random shit together. I didn't like it at all. Other than that, though, the song was rather well done. Good timing and sound, and really mellow and dark, which I was really drawn to.
I'd like to see you keep practicing at it and put out some more tracks. I see some good potential here, and I'd like to see more of your work.

Mean

I love your style man, its subtle and cool.

I reckon layer another snare in, with a bit more thump to it, eqing it so it has some mids, and then in the fast bit of your song-with the dnb beat- you should add some variation into the snare in the pitch/volume/whatever and maybe add some more random percussion into these bits. Thats just my opinion of what would make it sound legit.

Your synths/samples are all epic though, its a mint song.

Shimo responds:

The mid-snare is a good idea. I think I have some variation right now in the dnb-snare, 2 or 3 different snare-types or so, however I've been thinking about changing the dnb-snare to something less sharp. Percussion is also a great idea, and I think I need some cymbals for some parts. I think I need a little more depth to it overall, but we'll see what I can do about that.

Thanks for digging :)

It's very weird indeed...

It's a nice song, I really like the weirdness, it's kinda, trippy, but I wouldn't really have it in dubstep, when it's dubstep I'm really waiting for the power in the SWOSHSWOSHSWOSH with really clear climaxes, you don't really have those climaxes though...

BUT, I like your style.

Shimo responds:

I'm in love with the dubstep genre. Can't seem to stop listening. However my skills within creating music myself is very very limited, hence it's only a hobby. The day I succeed in making a real dubstep track I might actually, and quite literally, explode :O

Thank you very much.
