Excellent but not trance-like
Greetings. Your sturctural foundation of this song is noticable in a good way. Though i wouldnt really classify this as a trance song (Though it is trancy in a non active way) it was still a good amount of ear candy. I would reccomend putting a little umph or energy into trance. One person you should look up that you can some inspiration from is NIGHTkilla. I would put this down in the ambience zone. A recognized tranced song is energizing in a remarkably calming way. I hope this wasnt that confusing and i hope this helped. ~Rystan

I used Madtracker2. Extremely different from FL9, and Reason. It's also considered a retro program, but very good nonetheless. Also, I know. This was my first attempt at trance. ''1st''. Meaning I never ever in my 4 months of making music, tried to make trance. I rarely listen to trance music surprisingly enough. So, yes. The ''trance'' structure is definately have been missed. >XD Although I really love this song. It's beautiful. I also like my other song. The Sunset. Thyey are both complex ; deep, and very soothing if adjoined by the right ears. Thankyou for your review, ^-^;

Amazing
Though it's not completely in the trance genre. Still, that doesn't tarnish any of the greatness this song has. I have to agree though that your piano melodies and transitions are admirable.

Ahh, I am glad you like my piano melodies. Some ''friend'' of mine told me it was easy to make, and was beginner. Lol. Thankyou for the score, be sure to check out my submissions, I might end up making another beautiful ambient song again.
By the way, once I start getting trance down. I am going to bring this style AND trance together.. ^_^. How does that sound?

First off, thanks for the good review on my song 'Aurora', can never get enough advice!
I'm quite impressed by this song, may not be trance but it sure is enjoyable to listen too! (kinda sounds ambient)
This is a good song as is, and i wouldn't advise trying to revamp it into an actual trance mix, but some of the first steps to making trance is a good kick drum at the beginning of every beat. As for instruments, a piano can sound good, and you obviously can make quite beautiful melodies which will help a ton. Unison, detuned saws(trance anthems or supersaws) are often associated with trance. As well as a low, square or saw bass.
Hopefully some of that advice can help you in the future! if not, you can always keep making beautiful songs like this!
