Hey

This track was made for a school project.
The idea behind this track was the following statement.

' Happiness can't come without misery or sadness '

I personally agree. I believe that you'll learn to apreciate small things better if you have some tough luck at times.

How can you apreciate people if you don't what it's like to be alone ?
How can you enjoy a meal when you don't know what it's like to be hungry ?

Schmee said it:

This isn't awesome. It's background music to events. It works brilliantly in One Chance and would work well in similar work. But you wouldn't dance to it.

Original

Haven't heard any sounds like this before. I especially like the background Waaooow'z around 1:50. A bit repetitive for my taste.

darthduba responds:

If you are into that weird sounding Waaaowwz, you should check my loop Neurostep. It's unfinished but pretty cewl

Good Song.....

Hated "One Chance" however - kind of ripped you off ya know? Most "Author Comments" or whatever don't really give you useful tips on a game - most are shout outs or annoying little things, should'a had an in-game warning heh.

As for your song, I love it - it seem's too "loopy" though. Needs more varaity and more length.

Great as it is though.

darthduba responds:

As a track it is to loopy indeed. Although the track is a representation of something else. The full explanation can be read on a comment above this.

The fact that you don't get instructions in the game and don't have a second chance is the point of the game. You don't get any instructions or second chances in life as well. The ending of the game is supposed to make you feel like you screwed it and probably should have made other decisions.

If you would have known that before playing the game, the effect when finished wouldn't be there.

The key to happiness...

...why wait to lose something before you appreciate it? That is the key to happiness.
