Hey guys, sup?
Remember when I told you about "Escape From Robotland", being a greater track than the demos, blah blah yada yada? Well, here's the final and full version of the track, which I made about a month or two months ago. I completely forgot about that, lol

So, I was inspired by various artists and videogame OSTs during the making of this piece. You'll likely hear a bit of Metal Gear Solid or Ratchet & Clank in here, and who knows, maybe other games as well. It's the first time ever I'm SO not into Ambient territory. This is very likely the "oh shit I need to run or they'll fuck me up" kind of music.
There are many variations in there, and lots of epicness packed in those 9:15.

I tried my best to get things smooth and realistic, although I realize you can't really make realistic orchestral score without a real orchestra (that is, the snare sound and a couple of other non-electronic instruments). Since I'm not Dream Theater or Metallica, this is the result of my fatigues, and you can even hear the drops of sweat splashing down the floor. xD Seriously.

Anyway, please enjoy and let me know what you think ;)
Comment, rate (I hate you 0-bombers)... you know the story.

This is nice!

This track is awesome. I really do like this one. Before I even read the description, I thought this was for a video game and then I read you were inspired by VG OSTs. I love video game music so this one was quite awesome to me and it made me nostalgic for older video games like N64-ish (especially the first part) with higher quality music but that's just me This really has a lot packed into it but it all fits and flows together extremely well. I've heard songs from other users that try to just put a whole bunch of variations which, it sounds fine, but it just doesn't flow as nicely. This track is pretty top notch and I like that a lot. Plus the whole nostalgia trip really got me, even if that really wasn't what you were going for hehe.

Thanks a bunch, buddy ^^ I'm glad you liked it. Such submissions are become pretty rare nowadays, in this case because of the length. People want immediate mainstream music (or sometimes, "music") and they don't actually care about quality... at all. I plan to do some VG covers somewhere in the future, so stay tuned ;)
Thanks again, have a great day

Awesome ! The 0 bombers can't fuck with you .

You did an awesome job bro . I love the epic atmospheres, and the climax . It's like running from the shreds of reality that is left . Machines that were once our slaves are now hunting us down, but when you escape from your captivity, you notice the world at the edge of a cliff . Smog, grey skies, mechanical world at it's best .. then you start running again, hiding from the spotlights . Looking for survivors . 5/5 10/10 . I think I just had an oilgasm . O.O

Brother! ^^
Yes, that's exactly what this piece is about. Escaping from a robotic reality, the human breakdown and the rise of cold machinery.
Thanks a bunch for your review ;D
